St André is crafted in Coutances, Normandy, a region known for its lush pastures and temperate climate. St André is a triple crème soft-ripened cheese covered with a satiny edible rind. The downy white outer layer offers a complex counterpoint to the widely rich and silky center. As dense as pure butter and with the richest flavors, the tongue pleasing salty tang derives from the ocean air blowing through the pastures of the Normandy coast."
Usage suggestions:
On a cheese board with gourmet nut bread and pistachios. Make sure to let it warm up to room temperature for at least 30 minutes prior its consumption.
Wine Pairing:
Chinon, Beaujolais Nouveau, Bordeaux or Cahors red wines, Savoie & Alsacian white wines, Champagne & White beers are wonderful.
